 Stetchworth walk 1. Ellesmere Centre 1.5 hours, 3.25 miles ​
  •          Park at the Ellesmere Centre 
  •         Turn left on leaving the car park and look for footpath sign which will take you through a kissing gate on your right.
  •          Continue through the stud until you come to a stile. Cross the stile and bear left.
  •          Cross a wide track and enter fields with a ditch on left . Travel about 300 yards and turn right. Go over wooden bridge  and turn left.
  •         Continue along Stour Valley Path for ½ mile and look for foot path sign on left .
  •          Turn left and follow this path  until you see mown grass and a tennis court.
  •       Find your way onto a narrow path beside a meadow with electric fencing. At the end is Ley Road, Stetchworth , this is looking to the left at this point.
  •         Turn right and look for footpath sign on left . This path is through open country and passes poplar trees .
  •          Look for green metal farm gates and turn right into Woodditton Road.
  •         Pass houses on left and follow footpath between houses.
  •        Now you head towards the Devil’s Ditch by walking across the arable field .
  •          Find a gap in the hedge and walk through woods until you are at the base of Devil’s Ditch.
  •          Continue towards Stetchworth with ditch on right.
  •        At marker post turn left then right into arable fields , this is looking to the right at this point.
  •          After 200 yards you must turn left and follow the hedge.
  •          Cross wide farm track and climb through gap in hedge.
  •         Turn right then left across arable field.
  •          Continue over the bridge  and arrive at the rear of Stetchworth playing field .
  •         From here, the car park is on the far side of the Ellesmere Centre hall.

​Stetchworth walk 2. Tea Kettle Lane, 1 hour, 2.75 miles

  •        In Church lane, follow the footpath sign which takes you past a large house on your immediate left.
  •          Go through a kissing gate and continue along a wide grass path  for one mile.
  •         At this point  you will meet the Stetchworth to Woodditton main road - turn right.
  •         Go straight on past the Stetchworth Ley turn  and continue to the bend in the road.
  •          On your left follow the sign to Dullingham . This is a woodland path.
  •          Continue and cross the bridge on right  and then climb a high stile.
  •        Turn left beside the stud paddock fence.
  •         At the end of the path return to the lane and continue to Cross Green.
  •          Cross the Stetchworth to Dullingham Road on the bend, turn left and look for concrete steps on your right 
  •         Climb these and continue towards Stetchworth going through a kissing gate halfway along the path.
  •         At the top cross a wide sand track  turn right and look for a bridge on your left .
  •         Go over the bridge and then through a metal gate.
  •          Walk a short distance and go through a second gate and enter Mill Lane .
  •         At end turn left into Tea Kettle Lane and continue to Marquis of Granby 
  •          Cross the road and follow footpath sign to Devil’s Ditch .
  •         Take first turning on left  and return to Church Lane.
         The Marquis of Granby is open from 12 noon and serves food from 12 to 2.30
